Cape Town Book Fair Joins Mount Nelson For Literary Salon Series

The Mount Nelson Hotel in conjunction with the Cape Town Book Fair will
be hosting three world famous authors during the Mount Nelson Hotel
Literary Salon Series during the Cape Town Book Fair.

Director of the Cape Town Book Fair Claudia Kaiser said, "We are excited
that during this year's fair a number of events related to authors at
the CTBF will be taking place in the City of Cape Town. This extends the
influence of the fair, and we hope to build on it in the future so that
Cape Town truly becomes a 'City of Books' during the fair."

Three world-renowned authors will take part in the Literary Salon at the
Mount Nelson Hotel.

On Saturday 31 August at 4.30pm join Professor Wole Soyinka, Nobel
Laureate and one of Africa's greatest for tea as he talks about his
memoir You Must Set Forth At Dawn.

Best-selling author Jodi Picoult will talk about her new book on 1
August at 10.30am

Chris van Wyk will discuss his new work Eggs to Lay, Chickens to Hatch
on 1 August at 4pm.

The Book Lounge book shop will be selling copies of the author's books
at the events.
