The Cape Town Book Fair is delighted to invite you for the first time to a targeted matchmaking event for buyers and sellers of books and media. For a long time our exhibitors and trade visitors have asked us to help identify new potential business partners that they might miss while they are at the book fair. That is why we are glad to introduce this new form of event to your convenience.

Target groups for this are publishers exhibiting at the book fair at the one hand, and all potential buyers of their products on the other hand, i.e. libraries, book shops and book distributors, and of course institutional buyers of all kinds.

The registration will be open on the 29th of June. After sending us your registration on the attached form, we will set up a scheme that will allow a maximum of 5 or 10 minute meetings in one room, so that you will be able to identify in a very short time, with whom you might wish to enter into more serious talks during the course of the book fair.

The matchmaking will take place on the very first day of the CTBF, which is dedicated to trade issues exclusively. Your hosts and "masters of ceremony" be Ms. Tainie Mundondo, Secretary General of APNET, African Publishers Network, and Iris Klose, responsible for Special Programmes and Cooperations at the Frankfurt Book Fair.
